Notes, plus an Opinion or two

A = Gates lead vocalist on A side, Griffin on B side.
B = Griffin lead vocalist on A side, Gates on B side. Note that this single is the only Bread single in either the U.S. or U.K. to feature Griffin singing lead on the A side. Technically, "She Knows" would be the second such single, as it was recorded by Bread just before their breakup in early 1973 (see Footnote J2 on this page), but it was released as by James Griffin (Polydor 14236, listed here).
B2 = I have gathered from some fans that the songs should be reversed such that "Too Much Love" (Griffin lead vocalist) would then be the A side, with "Let Your Love Go" (Gates lead) as the B side. Any importance of the latter in showing Bread's rocking side would then give way to a potential hit with Griffin as the lead singer. This switch would support an earlier intention to alternate the A sides of the single releases between the two lead singers.
Furthermore, the excuse that the introduction of "Too Much Love" is too long for airplay (especially for an A side) is trumped by the fact of life that DJs (at least in the U.S.) often take advantage of instrumental intros to speak over them. In my opinion, speaking over a song's instrumental intro is not necessarily an undesirable habit, but interrupting the end of a song is especially unconscionable; imagine speaking over David's vocals at the end of "If."
C = Gates lead vocalist on both sides.
C2 = A promotional interview record. No discernable catalog number except possibly B-1; sides are numbered B-1A and B-1B.
D = A rare printing error on the label: Asylum instead of Elektra.
E = CDs of these albums were issued in the U.S. (and probably in the U.K.) by Rhino on the Elektra Traditions label, and then the first three were summarily deleted in the U.S. after a few years. (One or more may be presently available in the U.S. as an import.) In 2007, the Wounded Bird reissue label released the first three albums plus "Lost Without Your Love" on CD; their catalog numbers have the "WOU-" prefix indicated.
F = Includes participation by all 5 members who have been in Bread.
F2 = A promotional "mobile" was created in 1976 for the LP and is shown here.
G = Manufactured for K-Tel International by Warner Special Products which adds its catalog number for the LP: OP 1526.
G2 = The first edition of the LP and also the CD reissue contain "Just Like Yesterday" which is replaced by "Aubrey" in the 2nd edition of the LP.
H = Three-song EP. The cover is shown here.
I = Combines the first two albums in one "2-LP" package.
J = The UK version of this album originally included "Been Too Long On The Road" which was eventually replaced with "Diary" in order to match the track lineup with the US version. "Been Too Long On The Road" was included in the UK "Best of Bread, Volume II" whose tracks matched those of the US version.
J2 = The contemporary reel-to-reel issue is shown here, and the back cover of a recent reissue on LP is shown here.
K = Adds 8 songs to the original 12.
K2 = Mike's (highly-reflective) gold record for this album is shown here with further detail here.
L = Released as by "David Gates and Bread" to coincide with 1997 UK tour. Includes four 1970's Gates solo recordings.
M = Contains 13 selections – including the first LP appearance of several songs including the 2nd version of "It Don't Matter To Me." See the listing here.
N = Availability and track listing are indicated here.
O = A box set reissue of the first five albums, each in a separate sleeve that reproduces the cover of the US LP. Availability and track listing are indicated here.
